One more day (Maybe Not)

I'm using it with very satisfying results. I can't find Lexol in my part of the world and so I have decided to try BMW conditioner and cleaner. Easy to use and works fine on the Montana leather. Montana needs lots of care and frankly said I'm not very satisfied with the leather quality.

Deckard... are you using a combination cleaner/conditioner or do they make separate products? Would you prefer Lexol if you could find it?

Why don't you like the Montana leather? :(

Zaino for a factory low gloss satin shine, and lexol if you prefer a higher gloss shine.

I agree, BMW leather on the 3-series is of poor quality which is very disturbing. I switched to leatherette on my order at the last minute after driving some demo cars that were a year old or so and noticed how bad the seats looked. Granted they probably were not taken care of properly, but every one I saw had really bad looking wrinkled leather. It does not wear well, and you have to be very careful and keep after it. My leatherette looks like leather (black), and should look the same in 5 years, and every one says...nice leather! when they get into the car..........hehe........

Conditioner and cleaner are separate products.

I've heard very good reports about Lexol.

Why don't I like the Montana? The leather is slightly wearing off on the edges, especially on the edges of the side cushion (front seats) . And the leather itself is softer than Nappa. I saw Nappa on a 5-Series and it felt far better than Montana.

First clean the seats with the cleaner and apply the conditioner. Let it sit for a while and wipe it with a clean cloth.

With one more day in the Big Kahuna Contest, I would like to take this opportunity to say that I hope all the excitement that this contest generates, can stay with us. This is the second year that I have been involved in this, and I must say that it is really a lot of fun. There are some great posts (and some not so great posts...ie, clouds) Just kidding Corey!!

All kidding aside, I would like to thank Jack and the entire staff at PAC for sponsoring this awesome contest.

Now lets get back to whoring ourselves.:cornut:

Not sucking up. I am totaly sincere about this. These guys here at PAC are the BEST, and I happen to love this contest as it generates so much fun on the forum.

Besides, this is in the Water Cooler Section, so it doesn't earn me any tickets.

BTW, I know you are kidding.:D

This has been a lot of fun. There have been some great post and some... well... clouds???? People seem to have had a good time with it and like Barry said, it would be nice to keep it going. What if we extended it? Would anyone have a problem with that?

Jack,
I am very happy that you want to keep this going. It really is a lot of fun, and there are so many great posts during this contest.
Do you have a date?

I'm just here to talk about clouds and practice my kahuna point hoarding!

Seriously, I would like to thank PAC for this cool contest as well!

I have been on TID for a few months but was very much a stranger and very rarely posted. About a month before the contest I started reading posts here more and more. Eventually as I started posting more often and realizing what an assortment of great characters and good people are here I started posting more and shortly thereafter I discoverd the Kahuna contest! Well, I really didn't have a desire to post any more then what I had gotten up to but after observing the work of some true professional point hoarders (no names) errrhmm... Flash and Wendell... errhmm I new I had to step my game up asap! It's been a lot of fun! Thanks PAC for the contest and thanks to you guys on TID that have been here a lot longer then me and have been very welcoming!

Flash, when I win the contest I'll send you a woolie on Oct. 1st  :partaaay: :toetap05:
