OMG can this wireless polisher really work?

Picked this up as a Christmas gift for one of my kids. Will let you what he thinks of it after Christmas.

25 minutes of continuous power... I take a lot longer than that to do a car with an AIO. This would be amazing for applying an LSP but I don't see it as useful for much more. Maybe throw a bonnet on it and remove the haze too.

I suppose it may also work for doing spot corrections. But I wouldn't expect more than a panel or two before you have to recharge

Since it is basicly a cordless sander I don't expect much if any power behind it. Sanding disks a much thinner and lighter than buffing pads. IMO this might be a decent wax spreader or wet sander.

So how long does it last if you put pressure on it to correct anything ?

Perhaps if a quality Detail was already done before, and one wanted to just touch something up lightly ??

Dont see the horsepower in the machine size or the battery size for anything serious..

They are using the right battery type for longer life, etc..

Good luck with this..

I am so itching to buy this...PLEASE, somebody have a review of this?

Will it do a whole car with a quick AIO????

Griots Garage 5 Inch Lithium-Ion Random Orbital Polisher

I bought the kit which comes with bag and extra battery. I used it to apply Optimum GPS with no problem on wife's CTS. I used Micro-fiber pads. Extra battery is nice just in case.

This is just another toy for me along with all the waxes,QD, MF towels that I spent alot of money on also.

Very nice, exactly why I want it too.....I'm old and when contorting under a grill, would love for something light and wireless....

I used it applying an AIO on wife's CTS and worked great. I bought the pgk which included xtra battery. I bought this like I bought other expensive waxes, spray detailers, MF towels.

I have this polisher. AIO or finishing polish work GREAT with it. The only problem is if you plan on using either you will need 3 batteries worth of power. 2 at a MINIMUM with the 1st one on the charger immediately after taking it off the machine.

It DOES correct with PF2500. No doubt about it.

What it does do really well is apply wax or a sealant. Its so nice being able to do this without a cord.

Ive been VERY temped to modify one of my Milwaukee M12 XC4.0 battery to fit the machine. The connections are about identical. I'm pretty sure all these lithium batteries are coming from the same place in china as the case's and connection points on the milwaukee , dewalts and just about all the other newer style tools and batteries are identical.

jesse did a quick review on the polisher. I would like to have one since you can never have too much detailing stuff, but think an extra back up battery or two is a must.

I wouldn't call that a review for 3 reason :

1: about as much useful detailed information as reading the description on the box

2: they are selling the product

3: the battery DOES NOT LAST 45 minutes ! Maybe if you hit the on switch, turned it upside down and went out for your lunch break it might still be spinning when you get back, most likely VERY slowly. lol
