I am going to be detailing a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero champaign in color with leather interior. A little back ground on the car, it was owned all of its life by an elderly lady and her grand daughter bought the car as a first car. It has NOT been detailed in over 6 years, maybe waxed here and there. I know I am in for swirls and possibly cracked/dry leather.
How hard is the paint on these cars? Soft or hard and how easy to correct it?
I have never had the pleasure of doing leather, what if any products should I use to clean this with (wool lite 10:1?)
My main concern is my new AG order wont be here and I wont be able to correct the paint with my UDM and orange pads. I have NOT seen the car, all I know is she wants it done by me and I was highly recommended. She comments on our cars all the time and wants hers to be "sparkly" and "new" looking.
Has anyone done one of these cars? What was it like? Any pointers?
