Camaros have always been my favorite of the muscles. I am bummed they brought back the old stang, and left the Camaro behind. Comm'n Chevy bring back the old Camaro man, seriously. You gonna let Ford push you around like that?

I'm not much for the cowl hood or the drag set up, but the paint looks awesome.

What are the mods?

To each his own. I personaly dont like the stock look or the pro touring huge rim low profile tire look on the older cars.

It has a 383 stroker with 13.5:1 compression, Ross forged pistons, 6" Billet rods, 4340 forged Callies stroker crank, .650 lift solid roller cam, ported Brodix Track 1 aluminum heads with 2.08 intake and 1.60 exhaust vales, port matched Brodix dominator intake topped with a 1050 cfm holley dominator.

Trans is a fully built turbo 350 with forward manual valvebody. Rear is a 12 bolt with 4.56 gears, spool, 33 spline axles and c-clip eliminators.

As for the Cowl hood the air cleaner just barely touches it on the underside so it was needed. I was going to do a hood scoop but they block the view to much for street driveing. This car is set up for the drag strip. It is mini tubbed, has S&W ladder bars and koni coil overs. Also has an 8 point roll cage.

I guess I'll be the first to ask: pics of what's under that cowl hood?? :D I need a good drool this morning :o

AWESOME look. I never knew there were states with "Street Rod" specific liscense plates. Cool stuff.

Looks awesome... I kinda favor the Camaro's. Is the hood not a perfect fit?

Ahhh somebody noticed. Yeah the hood is a Harwood fiberglass hood and it is slightly warped around the outside edges so they stick up a little. I am about to install Dzus fasteners to correct that problem.

As far as the "street rod" tags go I absolutely love them!!! Reason being is a cop cant say jack SH1T to me about anything on the car or how loud the car is. Makes the car exempt from everything except it has to have D.O.T approved tires.

I need to get under the hood and clean it up before I can take some pics. It was beautiful under there before it went into my cousins shop for the paint. Now it has some primer overspray and an extream amount of dust from the sanding to strip it down to bare metal. As soon as I get a chance to clean it up I will give you a couple shots.

EDIT: I may have some older shots but still the same thing. Let me look real quick.

Sweet!! Paint looks awesome and the motor looks just right. I bet with that tiny bit of compression you got there and that teensy carb it should run alright. :D

How's she do in the 1/4?

Low 10's on motor. Havent sprayed it yet so my guess would be low 9's on a 250 shot and busting into the high 8's on a 500 fogger system. I dont have the desire to go that fast. As a matter of fact this car doesnt even get run anymore after my accident in my previous race car (yes i had 2 race cars). Rolled 6 times at 125mph.
