Okay to put Duragloss 105 on top of a LSP?

Horrific Newbie Question of the Day:

A couple weeks ago I did a wash/claybar/AIO on my new car and then waxed it with Collinite 845, followed by one treatment of Aquawax.

I later picked up some Duragloss 601 bonding agent & 105 polish.

Would it be okay to wash the car, and then (skip the 601) apply a coat of 105?

I know it's not optimal, but my time will be limited. There is only 1 layer of Aquawax over the Collinite...

I'm wondering if I should have done the 601/105 first, and then Collinite, and then Aquawax.

that would be the correct order tho for in the spring after the wash/claybar/AIO

The PBA #601 does say it will remove old wax and polish..but since your setup is fairly new it may not remove it all...you can leave it as is..or just AIO and start over...

the IW looks nice over the 105...plus you then have a bullet proof finish....I have put fleetwax and the Marque over 105 and it does look great...and now the owners use AW over the collinite to maintain it..that will be their winter use..AW on the collinite over the 105....

I played around with the speed glaze danase has..did that before 105..and have to say..it does look fantastic...gave it a different look...more deeper and wetter...

AL

the glaze is the same as the chemical guys acrylic glaze...just has danase name on it...
