OK, New Here, Here's My Dads Car After A Detail

OK, today gave my dads car the treatment of my new PC :D

The paintwork was in pretty good condition, and is very very lightly swirled so here we go! :D

WASH: Rinsed with Hose
Megs NXT, Sheepskin Wash Mitt
Dried with MF's and a spritz of QD

WHEELS Rinsed with Hose
Sprayed with Wonder Wheels cut 6:1
Washed, MF Mitt and Brush, Megs NXT
Rinsed, Dried With Tesco MF's
Tyre's Dressed TW Platinum Series Tyre Dressing

PAINTWORK: Clayed with Megs Quik Clay, QD as Lube
Coat of SSR2.5 with SFX-1 Cutting Pad (6" yellow pad)
Coat of SSR2 with SFX-1 (4" yellow pad)
Megs DC2 Polish with SFX-2 (6" white pad)
Megs #16 Wax with SFX-3 (6" Blue Pad)
Final Wipe, QD and Mf's

OTHER AREAS: Glass - TW Nano Tech Glass Cleaner
Chrome - Megs NXT Metal Polish
Plastics - Back 2 Black (:eek: :lol:)
Wiper Blades - Smidge of vinegar
Windscreen - Rain 'X'

Car looks great. Make sure you throw the cord of the PC over your shoulder so that won't scratch any cars. Other than that it looks like you have the eye of a detailer.

What are the 6 lime green colored bottles in your first picture?

I see that you said the car was "very very lightly swirled". That being said, a 3 step polish with SSR2.5, SSR2 and the Megs polish with the cutting pads seem way overkill and almost too abrasive IMO (for that car). I'm not trying to scare you or anything but there is a reason why people say to "use the least abrasive polish as you can".
 
Nice work Gaz, good to see you on here lad, one of the best detailing forums I know of, and still little known in our part of the world. Keep up the good work mate. :)
