It's a matter of time , really

On my MPV they hid the oilfilter real well:down

I do the changes myself

Considering Ford & Mazda are now nearly one in the same, Ford did a great job of hiding the oil filter on my 1998 ZX2. The oil filter was on the back-side of the engine block. I had to jack the car up, crawl under it and reach up to get to the filter. There was barely enough room to get a "strap type" oil filter wrench up there to loosen it.

The truck, once a year w/Mobil 1. It does very limited, but hard service.

The daily driver, the Prius, every 7500 miles. Toyota is paying for it.

The 330, every 15,000 miles. BMW is paying for it.

I don't know what is in either one, but I would hope the 330 has a synthetic.

Both the cars will have Mobil 1 in them when I start paying for the service, but the intervals will stay the same.

Every 7,500 miles with Amsoil synthetic oil and filter.

Virtually all of my driving is highway (about 500 miles per week).

I use a brand name dino oil, most of the time its Castrol or Mobil and change the oil and filter every every 3-5k miles. I use 5-30 year round. Seeing as how both my cars are GM, I use AC filters. Just so happens that they are pretty affordable as well. 3-5 bucks depending if they are on sale at my local Pep-Boys.

I use Amsoil and an amsoil filter-both rated for 25k miles-although i will probably change it around 20k. I've seen oil anylsis for old Mobil 1 and it was good (with topping off) for 15k-in an LS1.

Mobil 1 on C5 per monitor and GM recommended interval is every 15,000. If I went by this schedule I would be changing my oil every 10 years.

To account for this I end up changing every 2-3 years at ~3000 miles.

Escalade every 3,000 miles or every 6 months. Dino oil.
