tell him to bring a m/f bonnet along with the wax :D

do a 50/50 with your wax and then after applying his, tell him you need to quick detail it really quick and get some alcohol to strip it

then let him decide

Explain to him why you prefer not to use his wax. He probably thinks its the best wax, ect. Explain to him the benefits of your sealant or wax over his junk.

Why not let him? After all it is his car and he is paying you for the service.

two reasons...

I know how the products i use can make a finish on a car look. Why would I want to throw hours of detailing away on a product that you pay less than 6 bucks for at Walmart and get the finished look that his wax can only produce?

Plus, I would really rather the guy refer me after he gets a shine over his expectations on his paint than what the cheap stuff can give

Explain why yours is better. If he still wants to use it, offer to do have the hood or trunk with yours. In a month or so ask him which side beads up water more.
