My L5-S1 is killing me!
Just installed a 60k btu ng heater in my 3 car garage just in time for the MI winter :naughtyD . After working on my cars for years freezing my stuff off noless. It's horizontally vented out the side wall, pretty nice setup. Ran me about $600 for the unit and connections. If anyone has any questions about it let me know.

Congratulations on the new heater. Having a three car garage heated has got to be a great plus for your detailing pleasure. I am totally envious yet very happy for you!!

As far as the smilie is concerned..... when I saw the smilie I thought of winter detailing in Alaska. Not for the faint of heart. :lol:
 
Thats nice congrats. i've been looking for a portable heater for myself and i found out that code will no longer permit heaters in one's garage.i'll get one anyway and use when i'm working in the garage.

I bet it's only a matter of time before you move all your belongings out to the garage lol.

I'm running an electric unit that does ok, but I'd like to install something perm. that uses natural gas. Electric gets a bit expensive.
 
Hey Steve ..congrats on the set up but with a sceen name like you have "wifehatescar" be carefull that you don't come home one day and find a bed out there too :ohmy: :p :whistling :D
 
I wonder if I should get one of those for my new garage in Houston. :D Then again, I may need an air conditioner for there...
