This can be the best feature you can add to your list of services for your detail customers. I strongly suggest that you find your local PDR tech and get in touch with him. You can work the amount out and both of you can make some great money.

I have offered this service for a while now and it works out great for me and the PDR tech. The customer is thrilled to as the car did not have to be painted.

If anyone who lived in the NY & NJ area and they need a PDR Tech but cant find one, i can hook you up with my tech.

I just realized some people may not know what PDR is, it stands

for Paintless Dent Removal. This works great and can really bring in the $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Remember Dent Wizard? I dont know if they are still functioning. I used to use them. They sent me a few guys that were a total waste of time. When I finally got a good guy, I treated him right. Some of the work he was capable of would save me R+R time.



I actually headed out to Missouri to go to Missouri Auto Auction. I stayed there for 4 weeks buying trailer loads of hail damaged cars. (We dont get hail damaged cars in the Northeast) I had this gent fix them up for me like new, most fo the cars were new GM products that the dealers rejected.
 
Dent Wizards are still around these parts and seem to be doing pretty good. Dent Wizards seems to be the place people learn from and then take their skills to expand on their own.
 
Good information. I'd thought about learning PDR myself but honestly, I wouldn't have time to practice enough to be fully competent. I'll be on the lookout for a good PDR guy though and see if he and I can work out a referral system.
 
I'm lucky enough to have a very good PDR tech at my disposal. He does amazing work.

For basic stuff, he charges me $45 per panel, and I charge $80. I make money and clients are happy.



When we move to our new shop in Feb, he'll rent one bay (of 6), and we'll really start some volume.



I have a a paint touchup tech, and a leather/vinyl repair tech, also. Same deal. I make money, and the cars look great. $$$ :) :)

if a car comes to your shop/service and you don't offer to fix EVERYTHING that you see wrong with the car, you ate watching money walk out of your pocket. Body work, glass, interiors, mechanical, anything you find, sub it all out.

I know a detail shop that asks the customer if they want a full tank of gas when they pick the car up. I know I would want one.
