Ya beat me to the edit, awd330!
:-p :lol Steve said that he's had a lot of fun at this event in the past. It's supposed to be a big festival with antique cars (almost like a concours) and lots of socializing. :dancin

Wow, all that for only $6.00 - wish I were a LOT closer!
Sounds like a busy, fun-filled weekend!
Don't forget to enjoy yourself, Steve!

Neat looking show. I think I may drive up on Sunday. I wanted to buy some bold n bright at the Poorboy's Detail Day and I forgot! This is a LOT closer than the PB DD was!

Just got back; Wotta show! Steve says that it's a "little old man" show, where all the guys who have owned the same cars for 50 years get them out and show them, and ain't it the truth! Lots and lots of tailfins, some REALLY old cars from the '20s, and lots of '60s muscle.Kaiser/Frazier/Nash is the featured marque, and I saw about a dozen Kaiser Darins; there were only 400 of them total!

I'll post Steve's pic after dinner, the camera slot is on the other computer.

Here is our intrepid forum host, hard at work (actually I interrupted him taking down his display for the day):

You guys have met Steve before, but I had the pleasure this afternoon! Good folks, Steve is.

As for the show, well, there were 400 Kaiser Darins made, a little over 50 years ago. At least 5% remain, because that's how many were here:

I'm back...really good show, but I had to work my :moon: off....Nice to have some visitors from the DC, Ford Truck World and Autopia too. Tom it was a pleasure to meet you after reading many posts over the last couple years, and special thanks to awd330 who helped me prepare for the show, as well as 69 Judge GTO, (Freddy) who drove all the way from Kingston, NY to give me ahand yesterday. After about 17 years of working at this show, we finally had a weekend where it was over 90* and didn't rain. :lmfao but it was really windy as usual.
doublel...nice to also meet you and stop lurking:naughty so much:D ...cute kids too:)
