not true there were 108 (100 in the US, 6 in Canada & 2 Prototypes)

1997 LT4 Camaro SS



and 30(29 in the US, and 1 prototype)

1997 LT4 Firehawk



but this is not one of them



1) look at the bottom left of the picture that is a head light...the car is a Trans Am



2) look @the AT dipstick this tells us two things

1. it did not come as a LT4 because they were ALL 6-speeds

2. the car is not a 1997 because they used the "ring" type handle in 1997



3) why would you put a cold air intake on a car that came with Ram Air?



my best guess it's a 93-94 Trans Am

with an LT4 intake or the intake is painted/powercoated

like the water neck is :woot2:
 
yea, I thought someone might find it strange that I know what year used what AT dipstick;)



a little more history:



after GM used the LT4 in the 96 grandsport vette

they had extra so the sent them to SLP for these special f-bodys

there were going to be 100 each of the Camaro SS & the Firehawk



but they only made 29 of the Firehawk make it a very rare bird(pun intended)
 
OK, now we all need to upload pictures of AT dipsticks so Jim can tell us the Make, Model, Year, and if any teen agers had been making out in the back...

What was that about inspecting teenager's dipsticks?!?!
