observation...UPP vs. Zaino Z5 Pro

i'm sure this is all repetitive, but i thought it was interesting...

i mixed up 1/2 oz of z5 pro w/ ZFX yesterday to top off a moderate detail i just did on my TL (everything but polishing...still haven't needed to do any correction on it! ).

i forgot how great the Z goes on/off. and the addicting smell. hehe.

anyway, i completed two coats on the TL and still had a bunch left. geez. ok, so the wheels got it too. still a bunch. i looked over at my winter ride and thought "ok, i guess you get a treat today".

i had just cleaned up the winter ride a day before and it was wearing UPP. so, bonding concerns aside, i used up the remaining Z5 on the winter ride (and STILL had enough left to do more...but i was out of time).

the comparison comes in here.

application:

--Z5 a notch better for ease of on/off. removal is where it won out the most, but that isn't saying much considering UPP is so friendly to use as well.

slickness:

--gotta give this one to UPP. i haven't used a product that touches the slickness of UPP yet. Z5 is obviously slick...but UPP is, well...slicker

appearance:

--judgement call. i like both and won't go there. :dance

durability:

--we all know that one...Z5 would win out easily.

that's about it. off to enjoy the holiday!

Thanks for the write up. Paradigm, Have you tried either FMJ or Blackfire AFPP? I am curious as to whether or not you feel the on/off is as easy as those? That was one of the reasons that I love using it on cars because of how easy it is to buff off. Your thoughts?

If you cant get a sample, let me know, I have some extra of both that I could send your way, if you have some extra bottles lying around.
