My disgust meter goes into high gear whenever I see a really nice and high-priced ride...the type that's out of my range; the owner sees fit to get it washed often so at a distance it looks OK but always has a set of DISGUSTING, SCUZZY, BRAKE DUST ENCRUSTED front wheels that after a while will never be save-able.



Which of course begs the question of the manufacturers of those close to $100,000 rides equip them with dust pads!

Yeah, in particular with German vehicles that dust so terribly, I read it has to do with pads that must meet German DOT or safety specs. Time for the Germans to either ok ceramin brake pads from factory or create pads that meet their standards without the horrible dusting

VW has installed new pads on my car and they are "free" of dust (rear wheels)
