In view of various threads commenting on NXT and a durability issue, Im curious if those who have bought a bottle already, or used a sample packet....would purchase an additional bottle or succumb to making the first purchase.

Or, would you prefer another Megs brand altogether??

I like NXT and it will continue to be part of my arsenal. It won't ever be the end all wax for me. I like the look of different waxes on different colors and like sealants depending upon the need. I think it's a pretty good product.

Having said the above, I'm no expert on how long this product might go. I've had it on as long as 6 weeks with no problems. I usually put a new coat of something on at least monthly. I'm just not a good reference when it comes down to how long it will last. :xyxthumbs

I already have. Looks alone on my paint, it is the best IMO, it gives me the look that I want.

I apply something at least every month so the durability variables that some people seem to be experiencing don't concern me.

NXT, would you buy it again?

should this have been a YES/NO poll?

I won't repeat it. There are other products that last somewhat longer. While it is a pleasure to work with, longevity is probably my top priority.

I've got the Medallion. I've got the Gold Class. I haven't used #20 for years so I can't comment. I guess if those are the choices I'd give the nod to the re-formulated Medallion.

I have now replaced my VM step (usually second step) that I used to use in every detail with NXT. I think it fills better, looks roughly the same and offers a lot more protection.

I then top that with either #16, P21s, Souveran, Blitz or Collinite depending on color and season (for durability sake).

I do not use sealants. I obviously preceed the NXT with a polish or paint cleaner.

I reserve the VM for trim, chrome and glass.

I've already bought more. I think it has a somewhat darker look than #20 and for that reason, I have both. #20 for lighter colors and NXT for darker colors.

a.k.a. Patrick,

How about posting another poll and this time just put yes/no options. You may get more responses and a good guage of who is and who is not happy with NXT.

I have plenty of all of them, but I'll probably buy another NXT before any of the others, simply because I use it more often.

It just goes on and off sooooooo easy that YES, I will buy another. I will never know how it holds up though as I top it with whatever carnauba is closest to me.

Hmmm, the results of this question aren't what I thought they would be -- I thought the "no's" would be the majority. I personally will not buy NXT again, but durability is a big concern for me. Like others have said, it looks good and fills well, but it just didn't last long enough for me. It's nice to see so many people that like this product though.

Not sure if I'd buy NXT again. It worked okay for me lookswise, but I found other products that were easiler to apply/remove that gave me the look I prefer more.

Yes, i think I'm going to keep using NXT for a while. I just love the results that it has given me so far. I was thinking of stripping everything off last week and start over but every time I see how the water simply sheets off the car, why would I do that?? I dodn't even top it off with PS anymore. Of course I apply just about every two to three weeks probably more next month since I will now have a garage. :p

Dave, i kind of figured the same. I have to admit when i first used it, it was real slick. It will be interesting to see how it holds up through the next couple washes.....Another unexpected value of this post is, albeit small, but #20 is preferred over Medallion ?
