NXT paste topped w/Insulator wax

In preparation for winter, I have been putting an application or two of NXT paste on my car every week, and now I have about 6 applications. This past weekend, I topped that with Collinite Insulator (X3). Will all this make that big a difference when the snow flies?:nixweiss

But it sure looks good:

Can you see my wash bucket to the right of the trunk lock?

Is NXT layerable? Just wondering. I thought it had cleaners in it.

Anyways, you're definitely good for the winter!:bigups

And that definitely looks nice and wet! Good job!

I think the concensus was you can get about 2 layers on before it starts cleaning itself off.

According to the guys over at MOL, it doesn't so much clean itself off, it's that you've hit the point of diminishing benefits. They suggest 2-3 thin coats to ensure even, complete coverage and that applying more doesn't increase longevity or appearance enough to make the effort/product usage worthwhile.

and thanks for the comments all :hifive:
