Not another Zaino copy!!

I have never ever used Zaino products,so I don't know how good they are,but some people claim this product to be better than Zaino.:confused:

Zaino Show Car Polish & Car Wax
Could very well be.
Zaino may be good, but that doesn't mean you won't find others that are comparable.
Better? Who knows? That's pretty subjective and you would have a tough time ever getting a die-hard Zaino user to admit that.
FWIW, I have used Zaino. I don't use Zaino today. Do I feel like I'm missing something? Not at all. :)

I use them both and like Ultima a little better so far. The interior sealant is a very cool product idea and so far it is performing well on my DD. The tire sealant works but takes me about 3 applications to fully seal. It really is a matte finish so you might not like it if you take to the extra glossy/wet tire appearance.
Haven't used the clay replacement, wash, QD or interior cleaning gel yet.
So far PGP has the edge over protecting from rain spots. Something that always bugged me about Z5 pro.

I almost ordered a 3 bottle kit a few months ago but the local distributor didn't seem really interested in making a small sale /small profit,he was after bigger orders,, so after that I lost interest in their products, but I don't think I'm missing something .
I'll bet the Zaino shine is not much more than let's say Wolfgang sealant,or PB,etc.

The new Zaino (Pro series) looks pretty good, but where the Zaino is supposed to excel at is durability. The Ultima line is supposed to be coming out with a smaller (4 oz) sampler kit, at which time I will probably give it a try.

Shine wise I think you're about right, I can get a pretty nice looking finish with almost anything with the right surface prep. PB's has some products (the EX's and Natty's) that look great and are very easy to use.

While I'm not a Zaino user, one thing I feel should be mentioned here.
Your losing interest was because of a distributor of Zaino, not the Zaino products. If you are serious about wanting to try it, you might contact Zaino directly to either purchase the product or be referred to a different distributor.

Personally, I wouldn't bother and would just use one of the many other excellent products that are available.

I have used Zaino in the past and have found that its duarable and gives a pretty good shine.

I would be willing to try these but, man its expensive stuff.

The spray on paint sealent is $70

Exactly What I'm doing,I honestly get more than enough durability from Wolfgang sealant and pinnacle wax,I enjoy washing/waxing my cars every other weekends ,its very rewarding at the end of the day .
IMHO one might want to try such a product(Zaino) for winter, but I even prepared myself for that too by having bought a bottle of PB spray&wipe and a bottle of Optimum no rinse wash & shine:)I even have a small bottle of Colinite liquid insulator in case I'm lazy and need a bit of "durability";)
The only wax I really want to try is PB Natty's red.

I know the PB Spray & Wipe is a great product and I have heard good things about the ONR, (I happen to be using the DP 4 in 1), but while they will do a good job of cleaning during the winter months, they won't add any protection.
The Collinite Insulator Wax will, though. I used it for one winter on my Montana and it seemed to do a good job.
Even during the winter, I usually can find a couple of days when I can apply another coat of wax/sealant so I don't really need 6 months of durability.

Z2-Pro in a grey car is amazing. I'm preparing my father's car with Menzerna+rotary, EZ-Creme Glaze by hand and then Z2-Pro by hand also and the results are very good.
For my car, I don't mind about the durability because I could reapply another layer of the wax/sealant when it will be necessary or just for fun. But nowadays, my car is wearing 2xZ5-Pro + 1xZ2-Pro + 1xZ8 + Optimum Opti-Seal and the results are very nice.
Then, I like Zaino for how it looks.
Regards.

Just from reading the link, it seems like pretty subjective claims with no backing proof. What kind of "head to head" comparisons are they basing these absolutely amazing claims of superiority from? And it seems like they really have a bone to pick with Zaino. Maybe it's just me, but the info from the link seems brash, and that just doesn't really appeal to me with that type of product. And for the record, I'm not a Zaino user and from the looks/price of it I won't be using this stuff either.

The UDM had the same type of buzz /hype created about it before it came out. But honesty it is still a PC just with a little more powerful motor, IMO. It still vibrates and the power doesn't correct anything more than a PC could. Plus there are a few flaws that need to be fixed like the cord and power switch...

I've read good things about this like but the price does need to come down ... a lot if I'm going to use it.

IMO there are a couple things that does make Zaino different from anything else I've used- it seems to wash cleaner than other products and is quite durable. The other thing is that around dusk a Zaino'd car starts to glow-the same thing occurs if it's under artificial lighting. As for Ultima, time will tell if it lives up to the claims.
