NOOB Detailing Question

Hi, i have just gotten an interest to totally detail my car these upcoming weeks before school starts, i bought the platinum ultimate detail kit, and i have a few questions...



1. Do i need to put wax over the top of the polish, or as you all refure to it as, UPP....Or is it ok just by itself.



2. Layering, it says i can add new layers on every 24 hours, any info on this, i would think i would have to wash the car before adding the new layer to avoid scratching it from the dust and crap that would have settled on it in 24 hours. (it is an outside car)







Info on the car, incase it helps in your sugestions...



1994 Honda Accord, gold (beige) color, paint is in almost perfect condition, only a few chips and things...





Any other info you have would be great

1. Platinum Ultimate Paint Protection provides protection. It lasts on average 4-6 weeks in you're situation (outside car.) Use the Platinum pre-cleaner, makes the surface ready for UPP.



2. Yes, Wash if dirty, Platinum QD if just slightly dusty.



Really thin coats of both products. Wiork the pre-cleaner in like a polish, then apply the UPP like wax, thin coats. Let it dry for an hour+. Also search the forums for Platinum UPP.
