non-streaking vinyl protectant for tonneau covers

Is there a vinyl protectant for tonneau covers that will not wash away and streak down the sides of the truck when it rains? I've tried both 303 and Vinylex and they both streak, although Vinylex does it to a lesser degree. And yes, I did wipe off the excess following applying the product.

Thanks

i've used 303 with good luck. have minimal streaking. you could try ultima ttgp. when i was test 303 and ultima the ultima seem to collect dust more than the 303. the test area was 2' x 2'. the ultima seem to hold up better and i liked the look better, but didn't like the way it seemed to collect duct. 303 looked good until the first rain then it wasn't as black, but still looked good. 303 didn't collect dust like the ultima did. all said and done i went with 303 and apply every month. ultima will last longer and looks better, however it does come with a higher price tag. i use ultima ttgp on my tires and it doesn't seem to attract dust like it does on the tonneau cover.

a side note. when i bought my tonneau cover it came with a sample bottle of 303 cleaner and 303 protectant.

Hitemp Bumper and molding renewer works well and a little goes a long way. It will last about a month unless you hit it with APC

Anyone have experience with these products?

I was going to post this exact question. Thanks! :2thumbs:

I have used 303 and Z16, but I think there has to be something a little better. Has anyone tried Zaino Clear seal? I'd like something that can protect well and has some sort of UV protection, also. Most 'interior' products probably wouldn't fare well on the exterior?

I'll have to go to Camping World and look for the Protect-All.

Thanks,

Randy

I'll toss out a recommendation for Poorboy's Natural Look. Very easy to buff streak-free, and it seems to be fairly durable.
