Non-greasy interior product with UV protection

I've been using Megs Quick Interior Detailer because it doesn't leave a greasy wet look or feel. However, it just dawned on me that it doesn't provide any UV protection or conditioner. What products are recommended for the interior that won't leave a greasy finish???

The 2008 version of QID (due out January) has added UV protection. I don't think anyone knows yet whether that will change the look or feel.

Both Sonus products I've used are nice. I also hear that Prima Nero is nice, which I'm trying next. I've also heard the Optimum mentioned above is a good one.

I really like using Poorboys Natural Look. Its not greasy as long as you do not over apply it and very affordable. I bought a 32oz bottle two years ago and I still have some left.

I'm not of fan of the scent of Poorboy's Natural Look. Smells like cherry flavored cough syrup.

Optimum's Protectant Plus, Finish Kare #108 Top Kote, etc. are all good. I honestly don't think anyone makes oily interior dressings any more.

I agree with you ... personally I'm not a fan of the scent either but I just don't like cherry. Others have told me they like the scent....to each his own. Personally, I kind of like the so called obnoxious scent of Megs #40 :nixweiss

With regards to Meg's Interior Detailer, can you or can't you use it on leather? My older bottle includes leather in the list of suitable surfaces (e.g. - plastics, glass, leather, etc.), the newer bottles no longer include leather. Sorry to go off topic. TIA

You can definitely use Meg's QID on leather. It's my favorite quick cleaner for the interior. It's even ok for glass if you get overspray on the glass.

Until I used OPP, QID was my all-time favorite interior product. OPP is my new fav. now.

I have used Sonus Total Eclipse with good results. Gives everything a fresh new look, without any residue. Dosnt really have a smell either.

I strongly recommend Sonus cockpit detailer, followed by Sonus Eclipse. This stuff is great, it has UV protection and it leaves a shine free finish. Their leather cleaner and conditioner is also great and it restores that new car scent. For even more protection, you can finish off with Ultima Interior Guard to seal your entire interior without adding any gloss or altering the texture of your interior.

I have used a lot of interior products over the years, some good, some not so good but never seen a greasy finish. What products are greasy
