I used the rotory with SSR3, and had a really nice glass like, swirl free finish. Decided to apply Mother's sealer glaze by hand, now there are very fine spider web swirls!! How come? I thought glazed filled in the fine swirls. And they were not there before i glazed!! :nixweiss

WOOOOOHHHOO baby SSR3 is like liquid sandpaper I'm sure you left some fine swirls in there somewhere. you should have steped down after SSR3. but don't worry you can do a light polish anytime

yeah SSR3 would almost certainly leave some light swirling. You need to use a lighter polish like SSR2.5 or SSR2 on a polishing pad to get rid of that.

it just seemed that after the SSr3 the paint was swirl free...i looked really close... then i used the glaze and it got worse.

The glaze cleaned up the paint a bit after the deep polishing and revealed swirls you couldn't otherwise see. Hit it with SSR2 or #80 then reglaze. :)
