hey everybody,
i'm new. i joined because i have a paint problem, but besides my immediate need, i love detailing.
i have a 1997 Porsche Boxster which i have owned for 8-or-so years. 137K miles/'Ocean Blue' (dark blue metallic) paint.
i have paid detailers up to $300 in the past (just once) and was impressed with the initial results, but after a month, the scratches began to show as the wax wore off. so then i took detailing responsibilities upon myself and bought a PC7424, a set of Sonus pads and polishes (as well as some Menzerna polishes) and have been DIYing it ever since.
i am no expert by any means, and am here to learn the 'secrets'.
anyway, hi. see you in the forums.
