Next weekend's detail

Next Saturday I will be detailing a 2002 Lexus LS430. I'm thinking of using the Mothers 3 step system w/ paste carnauba wax with the PC I got from Lowe's today, but I'm a tad afraid about using it for the first time on a car like this (plus the fact that it's a b-day present for the owner). The paint isn't in that bad of a condition from a visual standpoint as it's a champagne color, so I've also contemplated using just the paste wax by hand until I get the hang of the PC. Should I test my novice skill with a PC or take the safe route?

Don't worry your gonna love the PC and wonder how you lived without it for so long . Try it out on your own vehicle first to get the hang of it if your that worried about using it on the Lexus . Good luck :bigups Let us know how you make out.
