Next Generation Zaino Z2 and Z5 are here!

Well The boys at Zaino reworked their Z2 and Z5 formula, and if u never used Zaino now is the time to get it. It is much slicker and glossier than before, AND it no longer is as thick as it used to be. It no longer sticks to the side of the ZFX bottle, flip the bottle over and it literally drains to the cap within 30 seconds, leaving no zaino stuck to the sides of the bottle. I really like the product! much much better than before! I applied it to a black ML500 and waited around 20 minutes (with ZFX) and it came off practically as easy as S100/P21S/Souveran. I am so impressed! I also noted better swirl filling with the Z5 than before. The new stuff is yellow in color and the Z2 is light light pink.
 
Sweet!...Thanks for the heads-up!...Just wondering if you know anything else that's in the Zaino woodwork...i.e. Z swirl remover,etc...
 
I just got an order of Z2 and Z5 last week. I would not say that the a2 does not stick to the bottles that they give you with ZFX. And the Z5 I got must have been old because it was still pink in color. I was NOT impressed with Z5
 
yup, you got the old stuff. New Z5 is yellow and Z2 is light pink. Old Z5 is a dark orange and Z2 is pink. New Z5 smells like watermelon :D The new Zaino really makes cleaning ZFX bottles a breeze. its like water on a teflon pan.. truely amazing compared to how difficult it was to remove the old zaino from a ZFX bottle.

it kinda sounds like what Moose Wax does in it's bottle...



EDIT: not that i have used MW or am comparing between the two...just noticing the similarities in your description of how it flows in the bottle.
 
Oh man, now I have to strip off the BF2 and UPP I have layered on my truck and put some new Z2 on! :doh

When did they start distributing the new stuff? I just got a bottle of z5 last week, would that be the new stuff. If I remember, it was like a vanilla color. Also, I should have a new bottle of Z2 in the mail when I get home, along with some other goodies :)

Thanks for the heads up! I bought several bottle of the old stuff from my distributor last week... Oh, well, zainostore here we come!
 
Hey Ali, thanks for the heads up! I just placed an order earlier this week for some EX as well as another sealant at another site... Looks like I'm not done shopping yet!



LoL BW, I'm in the same predicament as you. I've got two and a half bottles of the old stuff in my closet. (BTW, did you sell your bimmers?, say it ain't so!)

I received my most recent order of Zaino about a week ago and my Z2 is light pink as you describe. The Z5 though is white cream kind of color. I have another batch that I ordered a little more than a year ago and that Z5 is kind of tan in color and the Z2 is about the same.
 
The new Z5 (at least mine) came in a white bottle with a black label, unlike all the old Z5s i got which were in a black bottle. Hmm, white cream and yellow sound about the same to me. Does it seem more watery than before?

The Z5 I just received was packaged in the same old black bottle I got a year ago. The consistancy does seem to be a little thinner than the old one.
 
Hehehe, yup, I wish Sal allowed upgrades the way Valentine One does it...

Yeah, I did. With over 60,000 miles on the odometer, I grew tired of the creaks, cracks, rattles, and squeaks emitting from the interior - totally unacceptable for a $45,000 car IMO. Still, no company has matched the driving dynamics of BMW, but at this point in my life, I haven't got the time to enjoy it. I'm staying practical for now... 60-series "balloons" (as Ali would call them), good cupholders, and cold air conditioning, etc. are important on the 405. The VW and Honda will last me at least another 6 years... enough time to rethink my priorities in transportation. Hopefully, the next M3 will be out by then.

Ben, you are saving for a 2004 Maybach i thought :D. I need balloon tires on my IS300. Thinking about getting a set of 16 inch rims with 55 series tires.
 
Sal is constantly striving to improve his products and does so with out a formal release. Usually when he changes the color of a product, something else changed about it too.....
