1998 BMW Dinan 5. The customer wanted a quick detail since he is selling the car and it is in decent shape. Light interior cleaning and QEW wash, clay on the rear bumper and Vanilla Moose by PC and a polishing pad. No topper, the buyer is supposed to pick up the car in a week or so and the car will be garaged until then. The guy figures the new owner will want to wax it himself anyway. Besides, VM does contain wax, makes a great quickie one step.

First shot is a bit dark, sunlight behind the shade again.

On to my car. I still really need to carve out 3-4 hours to work the paint even more deeply to totally eliminate some light cobwebbing and scratches but just don't have the time right now...plus to the average person, the paint already looks damn good!

QEW washed, clayed, American Shine's California Clear Coat Glaze using a Meguiars polishing pad, Poorboy's EX w/carnauba by hand, and Natty's Paste Wax by hand.

Here is Stuf at the 3 1/2 week point on my Accord. Stuf was applied over an aproximately 2 month old application of EX-P. Car has not been washed or driven in the rain during this time, but it sits outside 24/7 (most of the daylight hours it is in the direct sun) and has been driven around a few times.

EX-P beading at the 2 1/2 month point (applied on May 15, pic taken on July 29th). Vanilla Moose then EX-P. Truck sits outside all the time, I wash it about 3 times a month with QEW. It has not been QDed at all.

Yes, I bought my Dad's 626 when he got a new V6 Accord. I still have the Accord too, but one of my customers is interested in it for his kid...who has already wrecked one car.

Scott: Just simply awesome!

What's the Dinan owner picking up as a new ride? Hope it's a new M5 on order :D

That combo on your car looks crazy. So deep and wet, with excellent depth. I will be topping with my first coat of Natty's tomorrow...I will post pics too since I have my red rims back on :D!!

Any reason you went with VM over another glaze/light polish on the Dinan? How would you compare PwC to VM?

Sean-the current owner of the Dinan 5 picked up his new, black M3 about a week ago. He wants to get in a little track time then have it polished and waxed. Probably do that in a few weeks. I used VM because it works so well on silver paint. Totally goof proof product and terrific results.

The American Shine CCC glaze is a very wet looking glaze, similar in appearance to Meguiars Hand Polish but almost as easy to use as Vanilla Moose. It is especially good on dark colors. EX w/carnauba is similarly excellent on dark paint and Natty's added more wetness. It has been 4 days since I went over my car and all I had to do today is dust it lightly with my California Duster. This combination doesn't seem to be a dust magnet at all.
