Hello this is my first real post im 19 and have been washing waxing cars since i was about 13 (by hand )when my dad realized i did a decent job and he didnt have to do any of it anymore ... i just recently bought a porter cable a week ago i love it. I wax my nissan se-r and my fathers cobra about once a month but we have my sisters old beater car which is 93 red corrolla and never really took care of the paint...
What my question is every time i tried compound or polish on the car i get a red residue all over my towels and applicators. I just ordered the sonus kit (backing plate and pads)but i dont want to use the good pads and ruin them with this car... I used the original pad on the car and the car CAME OUT GREAT looks brand spankin new but the white foam pad is all red, i washed it like it says but now its pink i dont really want to use this pad on other cars or make my new pads like this .. what should i do for a car like this??
