Newbie here from Philadelphia...

Hey everyone, my name is Paul and I live in Philly and I am 18. I have been detailing for about year now, doing some jobs on the side and I also work for a car dealership in the suburbs. They carry Hyundai, Suzuki, Kia, and Ford and I clean the sold cars up for delivery,prep them for the lot, and pinstripe the Suzuki's, Hyundai's and Kia's. I love what I do and someday hope to own my own business.

I have been looking at some of the photos of the cars that some of you guys detail and all I can say is Wow. I notice some of you use Zaino, Natty's etc, some of which I never heard of before I came here. I have been using Meguiars NXT products and I love the results especially the wax. Where do you some of you buy your products? I would assume mostly online since I never see any of these products in Pepboys, Advance, Autozone etc...

Welcome to DC! If you want to learn as much as possible, I suggest you read as much as you can. I would say a good amount of our members order their products from the sponsored venders, but there are definately more sites with other products. I hope you enjoy your stay.

What products does your dealership supply? I'm figuring stuff from the big guys such as Auto Magic or Car Brite?

I started at a dealership about 7 years ago and just starting my own business. So stick around and I'm sure you will learn alot. I'm still learning.

We use products from a company called Xtreme Solutions based in Jersey. Every single product we use is from them.

Welcome!! Where are you from? I live right outside philly in montgomeryville. I used to detail at acura/nissan montgomeryville and used Ardex products.
 
Actually, Ardex is located near Nabisco in the Far Northeast of Philadelphia.
They even have a store you can go to, but their hours are limited.
