but I didnt close the Spelling thread, I was going to, then the camaro Spelling thing was posted then I replied. I looked at it sec later and it was locked:) COOL:up

Sorry. I did that. I didn't think that a general rant about something that could become sort of inflamatary should stay open. I put a post in it so you can see it was me. Do you think it should stay open? It was originaly in the Detailing fourm.

Hello everyone!

My name is Halena, aka peachypan aka peachy and I wanna be a detailer.

I've been interested in detailing for a while and have been lurking on another detailing forum. After seeing links to some of the Shine and Show threads here, I had to join TID :) So far, I have no detailing experience, but I can appreciate a clean shiny car and I enjoy seeing something I work on come together. I would love to learn the art of paint correction and how to do a quality detail. There is a lot for me to learn, so please pardon any newbie blunders I may make. I look forward to getting to know everyone ^_^

Welcome to TID Halena. If you want to learn how to detail, you have certainly come to the right place. I was in your shoes just a few years ago. I learned everything I now know from this forum (and a lot of practice).

Don't be afraid to ask questions. We are all here to help.

Where are you in NC? I am in the Raleigh area. If you are nearby there is a great show this weekend in Brier Creek. Several Ferraris, Lambos, Vettes, Vipers, etc.

Welcome to Truth! I think you will find a great group of guys (and gals) here that are willing to share the knowledge they have gained as well as a great atmosphere for learning with out the drama of other forums. Thanks saying hi!

Really? Where in Brier Creek?

By the Chili's and old Uno's. First Saturday of each month they have a gathering from about 8 to 11am. My understanding is May is when they have the actual organized show. Always an impressive collection of exotics and performance cars and draws a decent crowd.:Car smiley:

Thank you for all the nice welcomes :) I live in Knightdale, which isn't far from Raleigh. A car show sounds fun. It's my 2nd lil one's birthday Saturday and my husband is a car enthusiast. Maybe we could check it out.

Welcome to TID from Winston Salem
