Hi. My name is Brian and I live in Illinois

I detail only my own and my family's cars (5) , they are all Daily Drivers and I like to do as good of a job as I can. Up until I found this forum, which I find fascinating, I have used a automotive store quality buffer and major brands. Like Meguairs and Liquid Glass.


Anyway I am finally ready to take the step and start doing a much better job and learn the right way to do stuff. I purchased a Porter Cable polisher/buffer, some BlackFire products , and Lake County Pads.

I also heard that Todd Helme was the Blackfire guru and was director of this site. Another reason I wanted to join was that I always seen the members were so helpful in talking about reviews of products and their ecperience in detailing .

and yeah I believe Todd is Director of Development for Blackfire products so yes, he is very much a guru of the BF line as much as anyone could be!
