Hi to all! Jumped on this site from a link - recently purchased my "bucket list" car, a '79 Lincoln Continental Town Car. Only 30K Mi. but going to be a daily driver to the coffee shop! In the process of refreshing it after 5 years in storage so picking anyone's brain I can find as to the best/reasonable products to keep it in tip top shape. Not a great one to maintain "trailer queens" I use my vehicles (and old tractors) so perfection is not a major in my vocabulary!! Looking forward to getting others opinions re:products and processes. Even though I'm retired have too many other activities going on to spend an excessive amount of time on detailing my cars. Have already learned a lot from previous posts and looking forward to avoiding some pitfalls before they happen! LOL ! Thanks a lot for this Forum. Dusty B

welcome to AF Dusty B. sounds like you're still too busy to be retired. :) you might want to look into coatings for your classic. once you get the finish to the point that you're happy with it, a coating will give you the longest lasting finish that will be easier to take care of. they're not bullet proof, but they are the most durable.
