Newb from New Mexico

Hello,
I've been directed here by google for a few years and have gained a lot of insight/knowledge so I thought I'd finally sign up.
As a kid I used to help my neighbor detail his best of show Chevy Nova and always dreamed of one day doing shows myself. 4 years ago I picked up a Chevy SSR and started living that dream.
My wife and I are in the Air Force which recently led to us leaving Florida for the dry, dusty air of Clovis, NM.
I look forward to learning all I can as I plan to retire from the AF within the next couple years and would like to try my hand at running my own mobile detailing shop.

Great to see more arid-land people here at AutopiaForums. I live on the other side of NM. Hope Ya don't ever wanna detail black cars/trucks. Welcome aboard.

OR... My wife has a daily driver metallic flake black Grand Cherokee. It looks great after I'm done and horrible 2 days later. I thought rain in Florida was bad but its nothing compared to the dirt here.

Over 7" of rain in about 30 hours. Enjoy the dryness.

Only a few more weeks till drier weather
