Just starting out.

I want to thank all the members here at DC for the knowledge I've already extracted from the forum posts.

I've already ordered PB SR 1 and SR2.5 and SR3, yellow Orange and White cutting/polishing pads PB EX

I've painted my own car and want to get into the PC polishing and compounding. I think that the 7336SP is perfect and in fact I'm pretty sure it is used in body shops for not only polishing but also wet sanding or even regular sanding both before and after the painting process with anything from 320 to 1200-2000 grit. This may be an obvious fact but the fact that you can use the 6" velcro (or even a flat pad meant for adhesive sand paper disks) pad makes it priceless since you can get the velcro sandpaper. I've used both and while some people think the velcro is better from what I hear I found both velcro and adheive sandpaper to be equally good.

I'm also getting the 7336SP from Lowes.

I was trully amazed of what I could do by hand with Megs Color X so I can only imagine how buch better the SR2.5 and the PC are going to be.

Thank you again to the DC members for all the info. It has really helped me a lot.

I'm trying to get a feel for what these products can do.
