HI All,

New here, been away from cars for years and riding motorcycles exclusively (mostly ducs). Earlier this year I bought a fiat abarth and it rekindled my interest in cars.

I've had a number of cool cars over the years.

I'm especially interested in learning the state of the art for waxing and such as it's been a bit and surely things have changed. Zymol was my wax of choice until I got an Elise back in 2005 then I switched to zaino.

I just bought a dream car for me an 07 Aston Martin Vantage Coupe. so definitely want to do the right things for it.

I'm sure I'll learn loads from all you guys!
Attached is pic of car at the dealer, it's in Long Island at the AM dealer and should be here sometime next week I hope.

welcome to AF. that's an awesome new ride! there are plenty of new products to try out. new waxes, sealants, and coatings will go way beyond what you are used to. remember to have fun.
 
Thanks very much Steve,

I've had a couple black cars in my life and they always a bear to wax. I'm hoping the metallic component will make it a bit easier!
