NEWB - foam cannon help

Hello there,

I bought Adam`s Red Foam Cannon a few weeks ago and used a few times with my gas 3,200 psi pressure washer. I believe the GPM is 2.6.


The only way for me to get reasonable foam is to turn adjustment knob all the counterclockwise to a point where water sprays from 4 holes just underneath the knob.`There are literally streams of water shooting from these 4 holes getting me very soaked in the process.

What are these holes for and what I do wrong that I can get foam any other way?`
I watched a bunch of videos and never seen anyone having that issue.

Min-Max Pressure: 870-3190 PSI

Min-Max Flow: 1.3-5.3 GPM

I should have also mentioned that my pressure washer has pressure regulator and i tried using the cannon from low to mid level pressure of roughly 2500 PSI.
