New Winner for August is

I don't know if this helps, but if I won (just an example), I would probably order $50-$75 worth of stuff to fill out the order and pay for shipping. Just me, but that might be kind of common. Free stuff popped into my Poorboy's and Autogeek boxes have made me big fans. The giveaways are similar.

I agree would bet that most that won and claimed it, ordered more on that shipment or placed new orders for other products after that...Steve is a great guy we all can agree with that, but this give away is a promotion of his product line.

I'm sure it's aggravating Steve, but please don't let a few people ruin it for all of us!

Man how can people pass on free stuff...keep drawing names..eventually I will win again:D

Trust me I will claim my prize.:D

remember you can only win once per 12 months ...is this the one you really wanted to win :notme:

Steve

I think that its great that you have this give away each month, and for the most part its seems to work well.

What about something different...run a monthly special to the DC members on a selected item...it would be a great way to introduce a new product or reduce an inventory...Something along the lines like the December sale...make it for a limited time in the month!

Yeah I thought it was a good idea to keep people involved and to bring lurkers out ..but they do need to claim their winnings ...

If i ran a monthly special, it really wouldn't be fair to my distributors who would have to match it...it would be better for me to offer the distributors like Troy a special deal on a product and then pass it along to customers:hmmm:

Why not just let me claim it? :D

nice try:D

Seriously, I hate the fact that some people could ruin the giveaway opportunities for the rest of us. Maybe the people who don't claim should be banned from entering in the future or something. :(

that's a great idea Jared...but it might piss off some good customers that just can't figure out that when they enter a contest that they need to claim their prize or forfeit it:notme:

good thoughts, but for the most part we just ship the prize as is :)

we do often throw in some free goodies with every order, the larger the order the more the freebees:D

Yeah. I was referring to an overall ... generosity, or willingness to win a customer. I don't need a prize, but its fun, and although I never win, it keeps me thinking about your business.
In contests, I would pay shipping (Canada), so I would bulk up.
