What do you guys think?
Actually it's my roomates. He picked it up yesterday for $200. I was going to buy it but when he saw it was a SSII he had to have it. It might not look like much but i guess it's one of the rarest options for a scout you can get. He kept saying that it was a 'gold mine.' The soft tops are really hard to come buy, plus it has a 4 speed wide ratio tranny which is also very very rare.
He wants me to detail it for him but i'm not sure there is much i could do for it... he's trying to decide if he should part it out and sell it, or if he should save those parts that make it an SSII and put it on his main scout, then make a sand buggy or crawler out of whats left.
It was kind of interesting driving it back. It had no doors on at the time so i got a great view... it also had a little hole on the passenger's side
Kind of interesting watching the highway underneeth you....
I was going to buy it and use it as my mobile detailing truck (after i fixed it up a bit of course). We found another for $200 though so i might use that one. It has plenty of room in the back for all my suplies, plus there's all sorts of cool stuff you can do, like putting onboard air to dry the vehicles. It has all kinds of room for a generator, or water tank or whatever else is needed.
