I found your site through either 2gss.org or chryslersebringconvertibleclub.com. I have always enjoyed and took pride in cleaning my cars. Lately this has been my get away from the rigors of busy work schedule. I know I could spend hours looking at the different forums and taking notes, but I'm looking for a few things;
1. I live outside Baltimore, MD which retail stores do you recommend?
2. One sales mag I get is Groits, what others would you recommend?
3. I'm going to invest in a Porter Cable random orbital polisher this week, what tips can you provide.
4. I have an 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (pride & joy), 2003 Honda Pilot (family mover), 1996 Ford Contour (comuter car, 150K miles).
Question from number 4, the 02 & 03 both have swirl marks that bug me after spending hours to make them look good, what do I need to do to get rid of them??

Thank You!

First of all, welcome to the DC! It's good to have you. As far as all your questions go, I can only really tell you that getting a PC will definitely help you get those swirls out. Keep reading and asking questions and you'll get rid of them in no time!!

welcome to DC

A PC is a great investment. If you can't find a good locally, take a look at one of DC's sponsors premiumautocare.com. You'll get 10% off for being a DC member, free shipping for an order of $125 or more, and no sales tax.

Inquiry about the Poorboy's product line .... good stuff and easy for the weekend hobby-guy to use.

Invest in some good MF towels for applying/taking off products and WW towels for drying .... excellent technology & equal to, if not better than, 100% cotton 'cause they're lint-free.

You can find some good off-the-shelf products at Wal-Mart (NXT stuff), PepBoys, and AutoZone. CarQuest is also pretty good but don't know if they're in the MD area.

Greetings and :welcome to the DC ! I'm sure you'll find all the info you need to keep those cars looking thier best .
