Hi all,

I just wanted to say that I think this group is great. I've been reading your posts for a few days now, and I can't believe that there are so many of "us" out there. You know what I mean...car fanatics.

Anyway, I wanted to drop y'all a line to introduce myself and say, "Thanks" for all the great info. I hope to be able to contribute to the forum as you all have.

Aloha,

Welcome to the forum Keoni! :bounce Autopia is a great place for car fanatics to hang out and share ideas about detailing, I am sure you will feel right at home.

P.S.- Nice Benz. ;)

Intel486,

Nice computer, btw (see Intel486's sig)!

Here's a shot of the front of my car as you requested. The pictures that I'm posting are with my car's old rims (18" Brabus Monoblock V's). I've since upgraded to 19" wheels, same make and model.

Aloha,

Keoni

Wow, thanks for the beeg ALOOOOOHA! This really is a great group!

As far as C and E classes go, the newer C class (2000+) have the "peanut" style headlights, where the headlight and the running light intersect a little. The 1996-99 E class has the four lights in the front and a larger grill. In 2000, they raked the front nose a bit and shortened the grill by one horizontal bar (about an inch) and retained the four separate lights. The 2000-02 models are very nice. The C class is a much smaller car, thus it sports a smaller grill.

Here's a picture of the new 2003 E-Class. You can see it this weekend in the new MIB film. The jury's still out on the looks of this one...
