first post here.....but i've been lurking & learing for some time now. i think autopia is a great forum, and has been a big help.



anyway, here are some pics after detailing the Viggen this weekend.



Here's my process....being a nOOb, tell me what you think.

Car looks great! Nice work!



But Ibiz? It's a harsh cleaner wax. What made you choose that wax intead of all the waxes out there like #26, s100, Mothers etc...



I remeber buying it at the NY Auto Show like 12 years ago and using it to clean brass and other metals.

well, i had VERY little of the #26 left, wouldn't have been enough, and i have P21s, but I felt like using the PC for the wax. It was my first time using the PC, and i liked it soooo much, that I kept wanting to use!! :D and the Ibiz was all i had in liquid wax. but i didn't think it was a cleaner wax?? :confused:

You'll love it here! So much info and so many people trying different things to accomplish the ultimate shine.



I've used the Menz-FP on my SC430 after all the previous polishing was done and used only the grey finish pad as I wanted the polish and not the pad to burnish the finish. Take a look at my SC430 below in sig, that's what FP did and Zaino!



Klasse AIO/SG is one great sealant! Topping these sealants is unbelievable!



I put Souveran paste over the Zaino last week, and after two coats, outstanding wetness. I need to take those pics!



Nice reflection on the hood!



Can't beat a PC for maintenance detail work! I haven't used my rotary for a long time! Only those finishes that are so bad I'll break it out, otherwise I use the PC.

I hear you about playing with the PC. It is a ton of fun. I love the grey finishing pads with glazes.



That's a nasty A4! Those rims are real cool. How ever did you drive it in the snow?
