Pull Over!
I just purchased a PC from Lowe's and some Meguair's pads from premiumautocare.com (Cutting, Polishing, Finishing pads).

I have Meg's #9 SMR and Meg's DACP and Adam's Revive and Butterwax.

I have swirls in my royal blue paint, so they show badly. I've always waxed my truck by hand, but it's just not getting the job done.

Since I have never used an Orbital Buffer before are there any things I need to know?

What pads should I use with what product? How do I avoid MORE swirls with the buffer? Any other tips would be helpful also.

Thanks:wavey

Lynn sums it up, read the thread about using a PC, and spend the 10$ for the ebook....Its worth 10 times tha... As for your products, go with the #9 first, if you like the results go with your wax....Im not familiar with Adams at all, is the first product (Revive) a polish ?

At any rate, if your not satisfied with # 9, try your DACP....wait wait wait....Trying DACP for the first time without any PC experience could be setting you up for dissapointment, and dissatisfaction.....If your Revive product is a polish, use that and the PC first, if your happy, wax....If not, move to the #9, if happy, wax....If your still not happy, try it again !!. DACP can get the best of you if your not familiar with it. What you need to do is get some PC and product experience under your belt before you really start messing with SMR's......I mean theres lots of help here, but your the one who has to work the products....Your also going to need a generous supply of Microfibers.....Maybe a quick detailer to remove any marring also.....
