Ok, like the subject says. I just bought a new steel grey Hyundai Sonata with black leather interior.

What would you guys do to it (to make it protected, and pretty)?

I know all of that stuff. i guess i was asking for something more specific.

what process would you take. what products for the color, stuff like that

When I was introducing my friend to detailing today, I let him use Poorboy's Natural Look on the black leather interior of his Monte Carlo. He first cleaned it w/ woollite & water, then dressed all the plastic and leather (everything but the carpet really!) with the NL. He thought the look was much better than the Armor All he'd used before, and he said it didn't feel as greasy as the AA. He commented that it made the plastics of his radio and A/C controls look brand new -- not overy dressed. Being able to use the one product on everything is a bonus as well. And I gotta admit, I thought it looked pretty good too.

He used a MF applicator to apply and Sam's Club MF to buff everything.

Let me give you the rundown on the products I had used to detail my '02 Max a month after I bought it.

Shampoo: Meguiar's Gold Class

Clay bar: Clay Magic

Wheel and tire cleaner: Eimann Fabrik Hi Intensity

Polish: Klasse AIO

LSP: Souveran

Rubber/Vinyl Protectant: Lexol Vinylex

It took me 8 hrs to do that car because I did some other things like polish the exhaust tips, Treated my rims (Clay, AIO, 1x SG), and took a few breaks in between steps.
