As promised I've tried the following new (to me) products all purchased from www.smarter-world.com
Aqua Flow shampoo
Price £5.61 + VAT for 5 litres
Appearance - purple/blue coloured shampoo
Fragrance - pleasant fruity smell
Produced a LOT of bubbles when mixed as directed. Slickness I'd rate as medium as I prefer the feel of Sonax, GC or Mothers personally but overall perfectly acceptable as a wash prior to polishing
Acid Free Wheel Cleaner
Price £6.72 + VAt for 5 litres
Appearance - watery liquid
Fragrance - chemical smell
Can be watered down (I went 15/85 chemical/water) depending on strength required. I don't know what's in this exactly but it stung the heck out of my hands and left them tingling!! Very effective cleaner however - I'd say on par with Wonder Wheels. It was used on the 3 cars I recently posted pics of including a Merc ML which hadn't had its wheels cleaned for 5 months :soscared:
Neilsen Flair
It seems that this is now no longer available and I can't remember what I paid for it!
Appearance - brown oily liquid
Frgrance - WD40!
This is a silicone free dressing which claims to give high shine to vinyl & rubber. I tried it on tyres and it had little or no bling BUT on wheelwells it really comes into its own, esp 4X4's with lots of plastic. Spray on, leave for 10 minutes and then buff with an old towel = mid sheen with a nice factory appearance.
