MICROPAK Ultra-Smooth Micro Fiber Towel - "The Ultimate All Purpose Towel"

Highly recommended by fellow car enthusiasts as their "all purpose" towel of choice.

1. Smooth soft pile.

2. Streak-free absorbent towel.

3. Silk edge border.

I like the colors. Hemmed edges even, look pretty plush. I will definitely be getting some. Thanks Ranney

The new colors look "neat"! However, I still prefer "white" towels.

It will be interesting to hear from Ranney how the new towels differ from the Ultra Fines.

I heard from Ranney yesterday on the new towels. They look awesome. According to Ranney the new 16 x 16 Ultra MF towels are slightly less plush than the 16 x 16 Ultra-Plush towels but softer and they have silk edging.

They should be available by Mid January.

I really like the different colors. Its going to be a nice touch to Ranney's Hawaiian theme :getdown

after i buy some of these im gonna have way way to many mf towels. I need to stop buying stuff!!! Its so hard especially since Ranney's products are so good. Chris

What separates them from the silk lined plush:

How many different manufacturers are out there that make different MF's for a supplier?

Outside of price and color, what separates these four and the PakShak? The Excels are cheaper than the Sonus by a significant margin and feel and perform and hold up IDENTICALLY.

I have each of these towels (not the pak shak) and have a tough time telling them apart. Outside of a slight +/- in blend, they are near identical.

I'm just curious to know who is, and how many factories are making these MF's in Korea and China and whom they are supplying, and if they are in fact truly a different recipe for each vendor (Sonus, Autogeek, CMA, Excel, PakShak, etc...).

Nice. I'm needing some new towels for the upcoming detailing season. These look very nice. Every towel I've ever gotten from Ranney has exceeded my expectations. I'm sure this one won't be any different. Thanks, Ranney!

Are these the same nap on both sides of the towel? I really like the Ultra Plushes, but really only need the plush nap and not the finer nap as I only use these towels for QDing. If these are that same plush nap on both sides, I will be ordering lots! Anybody know?

hmmm having the ultra-plush on both sides would be awesome. These look like decent towels but I really think I must resist this urge. I have enough towels already :D

Looking at the pics they dont seem to look as deep pile as the Ultra Plushes.

Being branded as "all purpose" to me these look to be a something to replace my normal Ultras with.

That's kind of what I was thinking. They look a lot like the Meguiar's yellow MF's you can buy in stores, although I'm sure they're better quality. I kind of like the Meg's MF's as they are nice and big and can be bought locally. My go to QD MF will continue to be the Ultra Plushes though.

I have plenty of MFs as well, but I like to spend money, lol

Very nice looking towels. I bet they are perfect in conjuction with waffle weaves for drying. :)

Love the color variety too.

What would be better for removing polish and sealants, the regular "Ultra" or these "Ultra-Smooth"?

I think the new Ultra-Smooth would be better, I use the regular Ultra for interior work.
