Mar 6, 2003 #3 U ultrajim49 New member Depends on the paint: at least 30 days , more likely 60. In the mean time you can protect the new paint with a bodyshop glaze like 3M perfect-it III finishing Glaze Christiaan

Mar 6, 2003 #4 B B737GDog New member Ask the body shop. Some paints catalyze almost immediately and there is no wait required. Waiting 30 days for the paint to cure has become obsolete with many of todays paints. Just ask the shop.
