New Paint (GM Aqua Blue Metallic)

Not really a detail job but this seemed like the place to post it. Basically just a color change for the most part. I did replace the front and rear bumpers due to stress cracks. Also painted wiper cowl, wiper arms and emblems. The color has a lot of pearl in it and actually changes color at different angles. Kinda goes from a blue to violet. Anyway...just thought I would share

Love that color. I had a grand am that was medium gulf blue metallic that looked very similar to what you have.

It's my uncles car. He hired me to paint it. The paint was ridiculously expensive. Unfortunately the shop that sold me the paint didn't tell me that it required a gray sealer under the basecoat so the car has around 6 coats of paint on it for it to cover. All in all I'd say around $1000 in paint and clear for this thing.

neat car, don't see too many camry coupes let alone that look that good. maybe throw a little bigger wheels and brakes on there from a newer gen since they should be the same suspension.
