Well, I'm taking my detailing to the next level. Just bought a Porter Cable 7424, backing plate and 3 pads. I've learned a lot from reading here and elsewhere, watched the available videos, and I'm ready to give it a shot. Like a doctor I guess, "first do no harm." I'll probably try it on my fathers car first, don't want to hurt my Audi. LOL. Wish me luck.

Enjoy the PC! Its a very user-friendly tool, you're unlikely to do damage with it so long as you're sensible. And it can deliver cracking results too! Have had mine for ages, and I love it to bits!
