Hope to get some information for my daughter. I have a Mini Cooper S (2002) that my daughter has in the midwest while attending college. I told her it needed waxing so she does this but smears wax all over the black trim. She said that Armour All helps but I think it needs a wax remover before I get her a good black vinyl treatment. Any help? Thanks

Yes, a wax remover is probably in order -- you might get lucky and remove the wax with Isopropyl alcohol. Try pouring some on a cloth, then wiping the trim. If it's stubborn, I have always had good luck with a toothbrush and some very hot water.



You might want to have her upgrade her wax to one that does not stain trim -- it makes it a lot easier that way.
