I know that the question was whether to wash brand new or not, I DO. And I also cut the tags off mine. I would think those tags would scratch bigtime, and it makes me wonder why they add them to a scratchless towel.....
If you guys would permit a quick diversion from the original question to washing used mf, does anyone boil their towels? I thought it was mentioned at one point or another but I can't seem to find that again. Don't remember if it was good or bad.
