Hey Everyone!

I just had the idea to google detailing forums and you guys were the least sketchy/most promising of the lot, and after doing some poking around, I decided to make an account!

I love detailing, and the process of making something look brand new. I'm not super into tons of products and this coating or that coating, thats not really my interest.

My interest is drawn from my head just constantly spinning with so many thoughts and ideas and things that make it so hard to focus on anything. But when i'm detailing, my focus is dialed in and content, it is so soothing, to be able to concentrate on just one thing, such true personal peacefulness.

Anyway, not to get too weird, i love detailing, haha.

I have a 98 ford escort wagon, and a 1983 yamaha maxim 750.

Sure, they may not be Ferrari's, but that doesent mean i cant treat them as such ;)

I also work at a motorcycle shop, and detail bikes there as well, which is what i will in the future post pictures of the bikes i detail, as well as the occasional car that my boss will pick up to flip and have me detail as well.

Here are my kiddo's - I love them dearly and they are both rock solid dependable under my own wrench, escort has 230k and i drove it from wisco to utah and back in the winter, and many other cross country trips, and i just got back from a 1 month solo motorcycle trip from wisco to the cali coast on my bike.

^ that was before i took my headlights apart and sanded and polished them from both inside and out:

Here's my bike:

And here are some pics of some bikes I did last week, I'll also post some of the bikes i do in the future as well.

Nothing better than the feeling you get when a customer tells you its the best they've ever seen their bike look even when it was new. I love making things look perfect. I love spending 15hrs+ on a single bike, I love making everything just glisten with cleanliness.

Thats it for now, I look forward to sharing the love of detailing and while hopefully picking up and learning a thing or two.

The sharing of knowledge is a beautiful thing.

Have a great day!

I agree that working on your car is real therapy for the soul. I especially love that you do your own wrenching and have an immaculate stable of older rides. Anyone can spruce up a practically new car. That's boring to me. But when I see older rides kept in such great shape THAT'S impressive. Well done! You're rightfully proud. And I LOVE the Yamaha! Your long distance adventures are fantastic. Great pics.

Welcome!
