New guy here. Completely new to to washing and detailing. Just bought a black IS 350 about a month back and have no idea how to take care of the paint.
I took it to a "hand carwash" here in SF and had an awful experience which resulted in swirls all over the place. (The washers had on jewelry, belt buckles...used bath towels to wash/dry).
I was in shock and decided to do things myself from now on. But I have a few problems:
1. I have no clue where to start.
2. I live in a condo complex with no where to wash my car myself.
3. I have no clue where to start...oh said that already
I'd like to have a nice professional detail to start things off, and then maintain it from then on.
If anyone can help with a suggestion for a detailer in SF and tell me what products to buy to maintain the finish, I'd really appreciate it.
